Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Kamani Kingdom moved from the east coast, to the midwest, and eventaully made it to the Pacific North West. He now lives in Northern Seattle. Kamani learned at an early age that loss is something that everyone faces after losing a mom to cancer, and around the time he entered highschool, began to write songs as an outlet for the feelings that accompanied his deppression. Outside of music Kamani has found many other ways to cope with the pain and intrusive thoughts, many of which he describes in songs like "Fine" and "Used To It".
Kamani Kingdom strives to create authentic and honest music that resonates with other people that have struggled with issues such as deppression, anxiety, and grief.
